I'm Anthony Butterfield, a digital designer, art director and creative technologist who helps bring ideas to life through design, storytelling, AI and interactive experiences.
My work spans UX/UI design, digital products, motion graphics, games, e-learning, brand experiences and AI-assisted creative production. I've had the opportunity to work with organisations ranging from start-ups and charities to global brands including the BBC, Dogs Trust, Diabetes UK, CNN, Cartoon Network, The Beano, Tate, American Airlines, BAE Systems, Bloomberg, TfL, Barclays and Zurich.
I enjoy working at the intersection of creativity and technology, combining strategic thinking, user-centred design and AI-native creative workflows to create experiences that are engaging, useful and memorable. From discovery workshops, user research and concept development through to visual design, motion, prototyping and delivery, I'm passionate about finding new ways to blend human creativity with emerging technology, exploring AI-powered workflows that combine image generation, video production, rapid prototyping, no-code development and interactive storytelling.

Working with agencies including Team Eleven, Hooey and Red Central, helping bring campaigns, concepts and experiences to life through AI-generated imagery and video, motion design, digital experiences and creative technology.
Recent projects include campaign visualisation, experiential concepts, social advertising, motion graphics, email design and AI-assisted content production for brands including Invisalign, Lily O'Brien's and the National Trust.
Head of Creative – Aer Studios

Led a small team of UX/UI/UR designers at an award-winning B-Corp creative tech studio focused on meaningful digital products. As part of the senior leadership team, I helped shape strategy, creative vision, and company culture, while remaining hands-on across key projects.
I worked on discovery, UX, UI, art direction, and motion for impactful projects including BBC, Dogs Trust, GOSH’s Neverland, Diabetes UK, CNN, RadioPlayer, and Roman Baths.
