Experience

Head of Creative – Aer Studios

Jan 2022 - May 2025 (Bath)

Led a small team of UX/UI/UR designers at an award-winning B-Corp creative tech studio focused on meaningful digital products. As part of the senior leadership team, I helped shape strategy, creative vision, and company culture, while remaining hands-on across key projects.

I worked on discovery, UX, UI, art direction, and motion for impactful projects including BBC, Dogs Trust, GOSH’s Neverland, Diabetes UK, CNN, RadioPlayer, and Roman Baths.

My role combined leadership and craft:

  • Line-managed and mentored a growing design team, interns, and freelancers

  • Played integral role in pitches, stakeholder workshops, co-design and user testing sessions

  • Actively involved in project delivery. From discovery and research to detailed UI design, prototyping, and art direction.

  • Played a key role in the creation of the award-winning Data Escape Room, recognised by BIMA and Fast Company

  • Instrumental in winning a competitive pitch that secured a spot on the BBC UX&D four-year roster — one of just 8 agencies selected from hundreds
